2014 Human Systems Conference

The first annual 2014 Human Systems Conference will provide a forum to increase dialogue between the Human Systems Science and Technology community, Weapon System Developers and System Engineers. The President’s January 2012 Strategic Guidance challenges the Department of Defense to be more agile, flexible and ready for the full range of contingencies. The Joint Force will be smaller, leaner, more flexible and more technologically advanced. Achieving these objectives will be particularly difficult with tighter budgets and fewer platforms. As need increases to ensure that every soldier, sailor, airman and marine are properly protected, trained and integrated with their equipment and weapon systems, Human Systems S&T will require new advances and a strengthened partnership with the development communities of air, land, sea, space and cyberspace.
