Live Fire Test & Evaluation Workshop

This workshop will be held at the SECRET/U.S. ONLY classification. A security clearance is required for admittance.

This classified biennial event will provide updates on issues relating to improving the survivability and reducing the vulnerability of manned platforms, as well as increasing the lethality and effectiveness of our missiles and munitions. It is intended for industry, government, and other participants who design, build, field, and use our nation’s defense platforms and weapons.

The workshop will include senior representatives from the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the various military services, defense contractors, universities, FFRDCs and other not-for-profit institutions.

Recent combat data will be reviewed with respect to vulnerability/lethality issues.  Lessons learned from air, land, and sea systems will be addressed. Recent Congressional actions relating to Live Fire Testing will also be addressed, as well as policy changes that could affect defense acquisition programs.
