Identifying and Engaging with Influencers



A good deal of attention presented in the military is focused on how to improve capabilities engaging with influencers through various types of communications. It is hoped that these capabilities can be used to influence attitudes, behaviors and decisions, for example, “win hearts and minds”, of target audiences without resort to (or excessive reliance on) the use of force. By understanding how networks of influence form you can more successfully engage with the communities you want to reach online, fulfilling your objectives as an organisation and providing value back to the people you engage.
