About DTIC, DLA, & DTRA
The Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) serves the DoD community as the largest central resource for DoD and government-funded scientific, technical, engineering, and business related information available today. Much of this information is made available by DTIC in the form of technical reports about completed research and research summaries of ongoing research. DTIC is a DoD Field Activity under the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, reporting to the Director, Defense Research & Engineering (DDR&E). DTIC`s use of leading edge technology allows customized information to be gathered at rapid speeds and deployed to its customers using state-of-the-art communications. (www.dtic.mil)

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is the largest DoD defense agency and headquartered at the McNamara HQ Complex. DLA provides worldwide logistics support for the missions of the Military Departments and the Unified Combatant Commands under conditions of peace and war. It also provides logistics support to other DoD Components and certain Federal Agencies, foreign governments, international organizations, and others as authorized. Because of these responsibilities, DLA is a large procurement agency for DoD so there is no better place to personally meet these key employees. One of DLA’s four goals is to structure internal processes to deliver customer outcomes effectively and efficiently; one strategy is to leverage industry. The products DLA buys are demand driven and must fit a need as determined by our customers. (www.dla.mil)

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) safeguards America and its allies from Weapons of Mass Destruction (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and high explosives) by providing capabilities to reduce, eliminate, and counter the threat, and mitigate its effects. DTRA strongly advocates relationships with small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, and other firms and entities of interest. (www.dtra.mil)
