Extending Analysis with Savanna and Analyst's Notebook
Savanna’s dynamic all-source analysis environment integrates with IBM i2's Analyst’s Notebook to extend and leverage charts, indexing all EIA content into a broad array of analytical tools to quickly connect data. Users can easily search all entities within a chart through Savanna’s powerful search tool. They can also incorporate discoveries into Savanna’s narrative analysis framework and build a story around knowledge gathered in Analyst’s Notebook through the use of dynamic models (Savanna’s Occurrence documents) and perspectives (Savanna’s mind-mapping Crumbnet tool).
View our on-demand webcast to learn about the collective capabilities of Savanna and Analyst’s Notebook. In this webcast, we will focus on a situation regarding drug trafficking and a multiagency investigation. Savanna's collaborative workspace and unique, model-based approach together with Analyst’s Notebook data analysis capabilities are ideal for analyzing complex, inter-agency threats like a meth investigation with cartel ties.
Attendees will discover answers to the following questions:
- Once a chart is uploaded to Savanna, how can data be leveraged and extended with Savanna’s changing models?
- How does each feature in Savanna incorporate and enhance knowledge gathered in Analyst’s Notebook?
- Are there any patterns to national or international drug busts over time that can be detected through geospatial analysis?
- How can sales and consumption of meth be prevented?
