Over the last several months, the Departments of State, Commerce and Treasury have introduced a number of significant changes to the export controls on countries and regions including Cuba, Hong Kong, India, Russia, and the Crimea region of Ukraine. In many of these cases the amended regulations impose new export license requirements based on the classification, end-use or end-user.
