Federal News Radio Ask the CIO: Online Chat with DHS' Luke McCormack and Soraya Correa
Homeland Security Department chief information officer Luke McCormack and chief procurement officer Soraya Correa will join Federal News Radio on April 27 at 10 a.m. for a free online chat. McCormack and Correa will discuss how they are working together to modernize DHS systems to take advantage of innovation through virtualization and cloud computing. These advancements are meant to improve network scalability, agility and storage - as requirements and needs evolve, build cybersecurity into the front of the acquisition and development processes, and improve how DHS plans for and buys these technologies.
Executive Editor Jason Miller will moderate the chat, which is underwritten by Tintri.
McCormack and Correa will take part in the chat after their appearance on Federal News Radio’s Ask the CIO program Thursday, April 21 at 10 a.m. Listen from anywhere at FederalNewsRadio.com or on 1500 AM in the Washington D.C. metro area.
Registration is required to attend this free online text-only chat. Participants will be able to ask McCormack and Correa their own questions in real-time.
