A Celebration of United Forces & Families
In honor of Military Appreciation Month, AFA is proud to host A Celebration of United Forces & Families – a hybrid event celebrating the unique and consistently evolving roles of military spouses. Join us Tuesday, May 30 at 10 a.m. ET for the first hybrid event hosted by AFA's United Forces & Families (F2) program, with in-person attendance at AFA Headquarters in Arlington, Va., and virtual participation around the world.
The first session will be a special fireside chat with CSAF Spouse Mrs. Sharene Brown and CSO Spouse Mrs. Jennifer Saltzman sharing their milspouse experiences. The second panel will highlight the diversity of personal milspouse stories by featuring Aaron Evenson, Nicole Murray, and Kirstin Navaroli. Both sessions will be moderated by F2 Chair Lyndsey Akers.
Those in-person are invited to arrive before the event at 9 a.m. for a networking hour, where Dr. Kendra Lowe will be signing copies of her books. AFA will be offering free professional headshots as timing allows. Refreshments will be provided.
