Cloud Platforms are transforming how Enterprises consume and orchestrate IT-enabled processes and services. The enterprise of the future will increasingly consume and aggregate a complex array of services from internal and external providers. This requires the CIO to assume the role of a Cloud Services Broker with the ability to orchestrate business processes, have an effective security stack for deep visibility and create a network fabric to ensure a high-bandwidth and secure on-ramp to cloud platforms.
The question of the optimum U.S. Government cloud scenario -- on-premise, public, private or hybrid cloud architectures -- is becoming increasingly important. Real physical and technical barriers exist that prevent agencies from consuming cloud services to their best advantage. Mixed infrastructure environments address many of these concerns; however, the challenge of trying to implement, secure, manage, update, and monitor solutions across on-premise and public cloud platforms can prove challenging.
Participate in this free half-day interactive event and explore feasible options available to reap the benefits of running advanced enterprise workloads reliably and securely across multiple cloud environments.
Subject matter experts and attendees will review:
- Benefits to hybrid cloud environments, which are ideal for large-scale transactional systems, real-time applications, high-performance databases, and in-line security management systems
- Considerations for extending enterprise IT and private cloud environments into the public cloud while maintaining full security controls and policy management
- How creating a software defined network (SDN) infrastructure can extend and converge the datacenter securely into the cloud
