Incoterms: Take Control of Your International Transactions
Whether you are involved in negotiating business agreements or are responsible for the shipment of products under previously-negotiated contracts, this webinar is for you.
Incoterms are a set of pre-defined rules around the delivery of goods from sellers to buyers which have found wide use in international trade.
Using Incoterms is a great idea in theory, but one which often runs into trouble in practice when they are misused. Take control of your international transactions as we address the following issues:
- The origin and purpose of Incoterms
- Recent changes with Incoterms 2010 and their importance
- A discussion of each term and each group of terms
- How and when to use Incoterms
- Export compliance (ITAR and EAR) considerations when selecting a term
Webinar participants will be invited to submit questions during the webinar, the final 30 minutes of the webinar will be allotted to answering attendees questions. Our webinar will provide PowerPoint slides and include video and commentary from Scott Gearity, who has beenbringing over a decade of consulting, training and corporate export compliance program management experience to bear for his clients.
