AUSA Noon Report featuring GEN James J. Mingus: Holistic Health for the Modern Soldier
AUSA’s Noon Report webinar series features presentations by senior Army leaders responsible for key programs and initiatives, as well as contemporary military authors who weave together the past, present and future story of the United States Army.
Please join us on Wednesday, 24 September, at 12:00 PM EST, for a Noon Report with General James J. Mingus. In this engaging discussion, General Mingus will highlight the Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) program, with a focus on its innovative pilot course. The H2F program is designed to optimize Soldier readiness by integrating physical, mental, sleep, nutritional, and spiritual domains, moving away from one-size-fits-all training to prepare Soldiers for the modern battlefield while ensuring they return home healthy. The pilot course aims to develop NCOs’ skills in assessing risks and enhancing unit performance through tailored, battle-focused, performance-oriented training. Additionally, the program includes the establishment of the H2F Advisor Special Qualification Identifier (SQI), which equips NCOs to serve as the Brigade’s “master gunner” for human performance, advising commanders on optimizing readiness across all H2F domains.
