Basics of Property Disposal

Come learn the basics of property disposal in this introductory course. The training will discuss when to dispose of property, disposal methods, required steps in the disposal process, and what categories of excess property must be reported. This class also includes an overview of programs like Computers for Learning (CFL), the Federal Surplus Personal Property Donation Program, and public sales on GSAAuctions.

This free 1-hour virtual training will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 2 p.m. EST.

• This training is open to federal employees, military personnel, DOD civilian employees, and federal agency contractors. 
• Attendees will earn 1 Continuous Learning Point for their participation.

• The training is facilitated in Zoom for Government. ZFG may not be compatible with everyone's system, so please test your connection early.
