This workshop discusses how consumer credit reports, criminal records, and new screening methods such as social media searches, can pose major challenges for individuals in obtaining and maintain- ing employment; information on what should and should not be included in a background check; EEOC guidelines for employers on these topics; and a discussion of other applicable statutes, regula- tions, and guidance.
