Interoperable Open Architecture
This event qualifies for 8 CLPs
At a time of unprecedented budget reductions, now more than ever, innovative and creative solutions are needed in order to maintain national security despite a reduction in DOD acquisitions. Examining and utilizing solutions such as interoperable open architecture is part of this important conversation aimed at improving our acquisitions strategies.
This event will educate acquisition professionals in a non-technical and jargon-free forum on the fundamental shift in acquisition strategy taking root right here in the United States. Driven by Ashton Carter’s “Better Buying Power Initiative”, IOA seeks to share best practice in technology adoption and procurement process change, so that the defense sector can open up to real competition and massively reduce system integration costs.
